Ballistics

All of First Choice Armor’s body armor products are tested to meet and exceed all current NIJ standards.  Currently, the NIJ 2005 Interim Requirement is the minimum test for ballistic level IIA, II, and IIIA body armor.    The minimum requirement for correction body armor is the NIJ standard 0115-00.  In addition to meeting the minimum standards as set forth by NIJ, First Choice Armor has an in-house testing facility and range to perform additional comprehensive tests.   In this state of the art testing facility a testing protocol has been developed to perform tests on accelerated environmental aging, tensile strength, and oxidation tests.  These tests are done as part of our continuous commitment to quality assurance.
